Stroke Symptoms

Knowing the signs of a stroke can help you or someone you know get quick treatment. Warning signs of stroke usually appear very suddenly and there is often more than one. Warning signs include:


  • Numbness or weakness in the face, arm or leg
  • Slurred speech; loss of speech
  • Blurred vision; loss of vision
  • Dizziness or loss of balance
  • Severe headache

What to Do:

Any ONE of these symptoms is a reason to take action.

At the fist sign of stroke, call 911 Immediately!
